Stonebrand Warhammer

Weapon (Warhammer)            Rare/VeryRare (attunement)

This magical weapon is embedded with a core fragment from the elemental plane of Earth. It is said that the heart of an earth elemental beats within the weapon. When you hit a target with this weapon they take an extra 1d8 bludgeoning damage regardless of whether you use two hands or one.

This weapon deals double damage to structures.

As an action you can use the Earth Tremor Spell (DC = 10 + proficiency). This property can be used once per short or long rest.

Some of the coolest weapons in DND are the firebrand and the frostbrand weapons; they really capture those elements in simple ways. This is a way to try and capture a version of that in a stone based weapon. There are tons of things you can do to tweak this idea to fit however you like it to. Maybe you make it 2d8 extra damage? Maybe the extra damage is force instead? Maybe it’s not even a magical weapon and instead is made of a strong material like adamantine. Ultimately, this is just an idea meant to spark your own, adjust it as you see fit for I am not one to tell you how to forge your weapons. I hope these blueprints help you in making a weapon you love.
